Ms. Bachman is a principal and a member of the Real Estate Department. She is a graduate of Wellesley College (B.A. with honors, 1988) and George Washington University (J.D. 1991). Ms. Bachman's areas of expertise include development, leasing, commercial finance, and business law. Ms. Bachman serves as general counsel to a number of developers, landlords, franchisees, institutional lenders, and other business organizations. She has significant experience in counseling clients with respect to multi-use projects, joint venture and closely held business agreements, ground, retail, restaurant and office leasing. She also has considerable experience in representing borrowers, institutional lenders and other financial institutions in connection with the origination, sale and workout of commercial real estate loans, including construction and mezzanine financing. Her practice also includes representing clients in connection with the sale, purchase and financing of various types of commercial real estate and business enterprises.
